WARNING
Your Fan coil unit uses water to provide heating and cooling.
Water freezes at 0 degrees Celsius (32 degrees Fahrenheit). It is important to never allow air temperature entering your unit to approach or fall below this temperature. With these systems it is important to ensure that when outdoor temperatures are at or near freezing your unit remains on and SYSTEM MODE HEAT or AUTO.
DO NOT SHUT UNIT OFF AT ANYTIME DURING WINTER MONTHS. FAILURE TO DO SO COULD RESULT IN WATER PIPES BURSTING AND SIGNIFICANT WATER DAMAGE OCCURING.
DO NOT LEAVE ANY OUTSIDE WINDOWS OR DOORS OPEN.
If unsure if your unit is on when not home please inform building management to check system status.
NOTE: ensure all return and supply air grills are not blocked. Allow at least 4inches of space from front of return air panel and unrestricted flow from supply air vents.
